We pride ourselves in being flexible, easy to work with and genuinely concerned about meeting the needs of ourclients. Our performers frequently step up to do extras such as meet & greet, judge a community contest or ride in the parade. It is our goal to be an integral part of the event and to build lasting relarionships with our clients.
Following are the quick and simple answers to frequently asked questions. For additional information or a rate quote please contact Elisa by either phone or e-mail.
How many shows do you perform?
Three shows/day. Additional shows can be booked for an added fee, with a maximum of five shows/day.
How long are your shows?
45 minutes, including pre-show time. Longer sets can be coordinated for school assemblies, private parties or for unique situations.
Are you a stage act or a grounds act?
Generally Let's Pretend Entertainment shows set up and function best as a self-contained grounds act. However, shows can be placed on a stage if needed or preferable. Consult with Elisa to discuss your options.
Do you provide your own sound?
Yes. We are fully equipped with professional sound equipment including wireless microphones. If we are to use the client's sound equipment, such as when performing on a stage, we request that a sound technician familiar with the equipment be present to run it.
What are your technical requirements?
We fill a 30 ’ x 30 ’ footprint , if set up as a self-contained act. When performing on a stage we need a minimum of 20' wide x 15' deep. Seating and shade for the audience is provided by the venue. We need access to a dedicated 110 electrical outlet on a 20 amp circuit within 50’.
Can you bring more than one show to our event?
Occasionally it works in our routing. Because the total is greater than the sum of the parts, a premium in addition to each show’s day rate may be charged.
Can we specifically book a particular performer for our event?
Although that's very flattering... no. We put great care into the hiring and training of our actors. You can trust that any of the outstanding performers employed by Let’s Pretend Entertainment will represent us well in both their professionalism and their performance.
